Dozens of systems working together to make every shift feel like a real police career.
A Career Worth Climbing
Run as many officers as you like, each starting from one of six backgrounds that sets their money, first car and perks. Arrests, stops, callouts and closed cases earn XP toward a full rank ladder - promotions happen on their own - and every unit is open, no courses required. 22 service ribbons mark the milestones, and the in-game rank editor lets you rewrite the whole ladder.
Shifts That Are Really Shifts
12-hour shifts on a schedule, with night shifts in the mix and texts from HQ before you're due - or switch the schedule off and clock in whenever you like. Every shift sets an objective worth XP and cash, ends with a report you sign and file in the MDT, and pays by the hour straight into your bank account.
A Precinct to Call Home
Walk into a station dressed for the job: locker room, your desk, the armory and evidence room, the supervisor, holding cells, the garage and a staff gym. Sign out your unit's gear, load the duty bag into the trunk and customise your patrol car for free - or switch on Lite Station Mode and run it all from a menu at the door.
Out on Patrol
Dispatch only sends callouts while you're inside your station's patrol zone, and a callout pays more the longer it runs, with extra for pursuits and gunfights. Searches grade what you find and seized evidence gets booked in; arrested suspects go to the cells as you walk in. StopThePed, Policing Redefined and Ultimate Backup feed straight in - and an on-duty death can end the career for good.
The Detective Bureau
Suspects who get away become cases. Re-examine the scene, interview witnesses, run plates, lift prints and wait for lab results by text, then bring the suspect in and question them in the interview room. Refer it to the DA or close it unsolved - every case ends on the record.
Money, Credit and Property
Keep cash, a bank account and savings with one of five banks, with ATMs on every corner. A credit score from 0 to 100 decides what you can borrow - personal loans, car loans and mortgages - and missed payments end in repossession or foreclosure. Rent or buy one of 69 apartments, from low-end flats to three penthouses.
Cars You Own and Modify
169 cars and bikes at Premium Deluxe Motorsport in 160 colours, paid in full or financed, and a dealer who buys back. Tune at six shops - engine, armour, wheels, paint, neon, plates - all previewed live. Every car burns fuel you pump yourself, your garage remembers every dent, and when you'd rather not drive there are taxis and an intercity coach.
An Officer, Not a Camera
Hunger, thirst and energy run down through the shift and take your speed, your healing and eventually your consciousness with them. Eat at stores, stands, cafés and restaurants, cook 13 recipes at your own stove, sleep in your own bed and train strength and cardio at the gym. Morale scales your XP - let it bottom out and you burn out.
A Life After the Shift
Nine holes of golf, 18 shooting-range challenges, eleven nightclubs with a rhythm game on the dance floor, barbers, tattoo parlours and 14 clothing stores. Need extra money? Drive rideshare, deliver food or hunt in Paleto Forest. The same thing lifts morale less each time on the same day - variety is the point.
A Phone in Your Pocket
Eleven apps behind one key: bank and savings, messages from HQ and payroll, a city directory with opening hours, taxi, side jobs, your career and ribbons, bills, health, a cookbook, notes and settings. The world keeps running while it's out - walk or drive with it in your hand.
Built Into the Game, Not Bolted On
Every menu, HUD, inventory and editor is a modern interface drawn right in the game frame, with a built-in guide to every system. Rebind every key, play on a controller, drag the HUD wherever you want it, and switch off or tune almost any system in Settings.
Connected to the Community
An optional account, linked from your browser - no password typed in the game. See who's on patrol right now, share a radio with automatic calls for backup, pursuits and officers down, climb the leaderboards and vote in polls. Everything else plays without it.

Yes. Reborn 1.0 is free on LCPDFR.com - no licence key, no subscription and no account needed to play it. Patreon members play the Patreon edition instead: it's updated every month and has what the free edition leaves out.
Download it from LCPDFR.com, close GTA V and run the installer. It finds GTA V in Steam, the Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic Games, checks RAGE Plugin Hook and LSPDFR, copies the plugin and everything it needs into your game folder and backs up every file it replaces. Then start the game with RAGEPluginHook.exe, go on duty in LSPDFR and press F6 to create your career. Coming from LSPDFR Enhanced Remastered? The installer moves it to a backup folder - don't run the two side by side.
The free edition is Reborn 1.0. Members play the Patreon edition: it's updated every month and has what the free edition leaves out - training and certifications, the fishing and haulage side jobs, the Vanilla Unicorn and three more bars - plus cloud saves from Lieutenant up. Every tier includes the Patreon edition; Membership above lists what else each one adds. Your officers come along - both editions use the same save folder.
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), GTA V Legacy, RAGE Plugin Hook, LSPD First Response and the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. Everything except the game is free. The plugin is built and tested on GTA V Legacy - it may run on the Enhanced edition, but that is untested and not supported. WebView2 is already on Windows 11 and up-to-date Windows 10; if the plugin's menus don't open, install it.
Pledge Officer or above on Patreon, then connect your Patreon on the Membership page. Your Account page then has the latest build and step-by-step install instructions: unpack the contents of the "!DROP TO YOUR GTA V FOLDER" folder into the folder where GTA5.exe sits, start the game with RAGEPluginHook.exe and go on duty in LSPDFR. After the first install the plugin updates itself from the in-game menu.
Not for the free edition - there the account is optional and only adds the online features: officers on patrol right now, a shared radio with automatic calls, leaderboards and polls. The Patreon edition is activated by signing in: open Account in the plugin menu (F6), choose sign in and enter the 8-character code the game shows at lspdfr-enhanced.com/link. The licence runs on one PC at a time, keeps working offline and renews itself whenever the game is online.
The Patreon edition is updated every month. The main update lands on the last day of the month for Officer and above; Lieutenant gets the same build as early access about a week earlier, and Captain gets 2-3 extra insider builds from the 1st. The plugin updates itself from the in-game menu.
Yes. StopThePed and Policing Redefined are detected automatically: their searches feed your evidence and XP and unlock more shift objectives, and Ultimate Backup and Policing Redefined backup count toward the backup objective. Your callout packs keep working - dispatch offers their callouts while you're inside your patrol zone. While a career is loaded, GTA's own golf, customs, barbers, clothes and tattoo shops, shooting range, vending machines and ATMs are switched off so they don't clash with the plugin's.
Station interiors need MP maps: in lspdfr.ini, set Main.DisableMultiplayerMap to false. If you'd rather not use them - on a weaker PC or with a map mod - turn on Lite Station Mode in Settings. Pressing T at the station door then opens a duty desk instead of the interior, with your shift, the armory, the fleet and your report in one menu.
Yes. Every key can be rebound in Settings under Keybinds, and most can take a Shift, Ctrl or Alt modifier. The defaults are F6 for the menu, F3 for the phone, F5 for the inventory, F9 for the MDT and T to interact. A controller works too - LB + D-pad Up opens the menu.
Memberships are recurring and you can cancel anytime on Patreon to stop future charges. The Refunds page has the details; for specific billing questions, reach out via Discord or email.
